SEO Consultant Dublin – I get you to No. 1 in Google, Guaranteed!!!

SEO Consultant Dublin – OK, beware of any so called ‘SEO Consultant Dublin’, who boldly states, ‘I can get you No. 1 in Google!!!  Yes, how many emails have you received over the past few years that made such a claim?? If it was all that simple, we’d all be No. 1!!

Many of these so-called SEO Consultants may in fact get you to No. 1 on Google, but probably for a search string that nobody searches, so there is no competition for those words.  Any SEO Consultant in Dublin can do that….you much first understand your market and the keywords and strings that your customers are searching…

SEO Consultant Dublin – What are your Market Keywords?

So, what are your keywords?  Have you undertaken Keyword Research for your business?  Have you prioritised your list, your top 5, top 10, top 20 and so on?  Below we have documented 5 very simple ways to generate keyword ideas for your business.

Google Search Box

1

Go to the Google Search Box on www.Google.com, type in a word or two and suggestions will appear, for example:

And within search results, see the suggestions at the bottom of the search results page:

3

Using the Chrome Extension ‘Google Everywhere’ you can see search volumes and PPC prices, see:

An excellent tool that will give you instant PPC visibility, monthly search volumes and keyword search ideas.

4

Of course, don’t forget Keyword Planner – not absolutely 100% accurate but a very solid gauge for search strings and the volume of monthly searches.

5

Think about questions your potential clients might ask a search engine  – for example, ‘when to fertilise my lawn’ – now create a list of questions that your potential clients may ask – now write answers to their questions and make them live on your site.  This is very current at the moment and looks like being a long term tactic for search engines like Google – people are starting to ask more direct questions – so provide answers.

Remember, best practice On-Page Optimisation, see this link.

Final SEO Tip:

If your website is new or has little traffic, you should focus on low trafficked keywords that you can win against, and win quickly.  There is a simple way of finding out how many pages are optimised for specific search strings and if that is low, then you have a better chance of ranking and if you start to get clicks, your overall traffic figures will start to grow.  Remember, accumulated website traffic is a high ranking factor, do this and then your future SEO work has a better chance of performing.

For example take the search phrase: Window Repair Tallaght – using the allintitle: command in Google Search, see:

allintitle
allintitle Window Repair Tallaght
7 Websites throughout the web have ‘Window Repair Tallaght’ within a page, and so the competition is 7 – perhaps an easy win.  Over time absolutely, and how many times is ‘Window Repair Tallaght’ searched every month: 30……OK, not thousands, but still potentially 30 new customers every month….
